My boyfriend had recently had a tonsilectomy this past week and was supposed to be recovering from tonsilitus. Today he received a call from his doctor. His doctor had done some tests on his removed tonsils and found that it wasn't tonsilitus at all but something much more dire. He had an early stage of Throat Cancer. They believe they may have gotten all of it out but they aren't certain. He's going in for some CAT scans tomorrow. I mean I should be greatful that they caught it when they did but at the same time I'm super worried.

Since I have no clue when HumanJunk will get here, I figure i'll start up the Random Info thread. It just isn't a PoeBoard without Random Info. I have a new Minidisk player. It is my new pride and joy. I have a sneaking suspicion that many of my teachers are senile or on sedatives. Quite possibly both. I'm going to see Something Corporate next week. It's a good thing.

It's great to be back in Poeland. She's done a lot for me, including giving me my first taste of performing on stage to a packed house of screaming fans. (December 3rd, 2001... a day that will live in infamy...) Now I spend my time with various instruments plugged into the computer, writing and playing my own music. I'm even going to have some of my first solo gigs before the year is out. I look forward to being an ANGRY PSYCHO, as well as a POESER and a REPOE man as well. Maybe some day I might even get to sing another duet with Poe again! Poe really should come up to Portland sometime for a couple days. Sit down with some sunshine and solitude…

POE, Have you ever thought about trying to gather up all your 'bootleg' recordings and store them all in one place i.e. realpoe.com? I know Ed has quite a few things, many are unfortunately not on navelsex any more, although a few are, Thanks Ed. I just downloaded your "In the Zone" show from January 1997. I pasted it together, cut out the commercials, split it into a stereo mix, increased overall dynamics, and equalized the track. It sounds REALLY good for a live performance that started out as a mono .mp3. (just need ro try to remove some 'hiss') I have many of your non-album songs, but I know I don't have many more. I would love it …
