I am a Repoe-Being, and I will Repoe-sess the future. Subvert in the simplest ways. Make each step you take one of media defiance. Become your own billboard for the things you treasure. Start small. Mentioning Poe or displaying something related to Poe in your public life can be a surprisingly effecive means of drawing attention to her. I often mention Poe and this site on my own website and in conversation with others, hopefully creating the seeds for an eventual Psycho. Our path to getting Poe recognized can't be through the Clear Channels and MTV's of the world, but through the very fibers of our surroundings. Bring the message through the personal digital a…

Hi At the end of the song Terrible Thought there's some male voices... I just can understand "Just back up for a second men"... What do they say? "I always wondered what they meant..."

I've been working on some new music, after turning my PC into a full-fledged recording studio. With the help of Cakewalk and Cool Edit Pro 2.1, I've created my first track, and it's available for a free download. If anybody wants to check it out, and give this Psycho/RePoeman some additional advice, feel free to do so. Comments are always welcome. The song can be downloaded from http://www.kubster.com/ directly. Go ahead and send up comments here or to my e-mail, they're all welcome!

Ok, the American Family Association (a group with a pronounced anti-gay stance) has posted a poll regarding the legalization of homosexual marriage on their website. OK, this strikes me as selective polling..who else besides AFA members would go to that site? Anyway, the results will supposedly be submitted to congress. Everybody should take a few seconds (and it really takes seconds) to go to www.marriagepoll.com and vote for the legalization of homosexual marriage - so far the race is 50/50 (through word of mouth among COOL people like us) with us being ahead. So yeah...go vote! Much Love, Xander

i would have never found out about it if it weren't for the cancellation of my flight to Toronto this morning, 'cause of that stupid 2 feet of snow we're getting. I had the old board bookmarked and it's been giving me this maintainance message for the past 2 months. now that i'm stranded at my friend's house, so i had to get in the board from his pc through the main site and this new board pops up. Hope i didn't miss too much. it's great to see so many psychos around. now i'd better read all the new P+e's poests to see what she's up to.

hhmm...any thoughts? I've heard a lot of people talking about it lately, aside from those I would expect to hear it from, especially with all the related news...something about the MA courts saying they can't stop it. I also recently went to a lecture by Andrew Sullivan, who I hear is normally more conservative, but he decided to take a stand in favor of gay marriage, so I found that very interesting. It affects me to some extent, and that's probably the only reason I'm posting about it, because politics just suck most of the time. Other countries don't have a problem legalizing it, yet we do in the US.

I'm so very uncultured. However, lately I've developed a most-likely short-lived fascination with Cindy Sherman's work because we were looking at a few of her photographs for my media aesthetics class. Most of her photos include her acting out different characters, so she doesn't like to call them self-portraits (but there are a few that are closer...no wigs/makeup.) Then she has this F&$@ed up period where she took pictures of deformed mannequins as like a parody of pornography. There's this one picture of a mannequin's ass, where it has a mr. potato-head-like opening...it's funny. Here's a decent site: http://citd.scar.utor…

I absolutely love the various quotes and poems in House of Leaves. Don't you? This is where I ask you to share your favorites. Personally, my favorite would have to be the untitled fragment... Little solace comes to those who grieve when thoughts keep drifting as walls keep shifting and this great blue world of ours seems a house of leaves moments before the wind. (pg. 563) Too true.

Firstly I just want to say "Hey whats up?" this is my first post here, and I just wanted to say hey, and see how everyone was. Secondly, I got a few ideas on how to shake up interest for P+E around the world. P+E aint that well known here (in Australia) but I bought a copy of Haunted for my friend Sarah (who then added the whole thing to her University radio station so tracks get random play often!) and I transferred the last remaining copies in Australia to my store to be given as christmas presents this year (I work in a musci store). I am doing my best to spread the word of P+E around my way. But I had a few ideas... Some of you guys wrote about hand…

Ok, Well to make this global we should see if we can post the instructions on the RealPoe web site. How I see this working, is we come up with a similar sort of instructions that would work in all countries, we come up with a global flyer to print out and distribute advertising the global treasure hunt wich has the HTTP address on it, and have a specific date that it starts. We could end up finishing at a night club that will play the song Haunted at midnight and hide clues all around the town to bring people to that bar. One person would win a P+E pack with stickers etc, if they don't know P+E by then, they will after. Now I know it sounds pretty complicated at …

I'm posting this because some of you have expressed an interest in my work. I have a side project called The Beat Circles with my friend That Girl Julia Marie (That Girl's Got Rhythm) and we did this really kickin' remix of Milkshake. "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and damn right, it's better than yours, damn right, is better than yours, I could teach you, but I have to charge." The original, while burning up the airwaves here, has to be the worst song I ever heard The Neptunes produce. So we totally gave it a make over and now we're waiting to hear from Kelis and her label to see what they think. Check it out at www.m…
