i miss asia today here's where i lived last year for about 14 months or so.... and here's where i loved most in viet nam, have many great friends there. i took my dad there, he was in da nang during the war. but i stayed in ho chi minh city for a bit, hoi an for longer, then hue, and stayed about a year in Hanoi. here's hoi an, such gorgeous beaches there. so chilled and friendly, and the clothes are amazing....

i talked to a graphic designer today, i'm meeting her on sunday to discuss possible Poe Ball World Tour sticker designs, i want to make a few hundred and pass them out in ireland and london, stick them everywhere. then i have the ones i've made in the darkroom, the link is in my sig. has anyone else designed anything for rePOE, or the ball tour, or anything? i'd be interested to see other designs, i'm curious about what i'll get from this graphic designer for stickers, i want more ideas before i give her the go ahead. any suggestions/designs/psychosis you'd like to share?

I would like us to use this thread to help brainstorm how we are going to spread the word about Poe and help her. Since she isn't going to have a huge label behind her (not that having a big label seems to help anyhow), what can we do to help her, to get her music out there. Most stations are owned by Clear Channel which has that whole payola type mentality and won't play Poe no matter how much we have tried to get them to do it. So, what other ways can we get the word out about Poe. What can we do to help her? I know it is going to be easier when she releases new material and we can do the whole putting up flyers and the like, but I would like to hear some r…

Hey, Well since I have done a bit of posting in the other forums, I was thinking I should see if I could get a little interest in the Aussie Land world for P+E. I know that there are a few of us out there cause over the past year I have got 2 calls at work about P+E. Now that's exciting cause in Australia F&*#ing Atlantic pulled distribution of her album, and never promoted it. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be enough if Poe just does an independent tour. She needs to be exPOEsed more. Once people begin to hear her music and even better once they see her perform (I have only seen her once, but she impressed the hell out of me- her live performance was what sold me) then she will be on top of the world. I would just like to know if Poe still receives money from Atlantic when her albums are sold in stores. The reason I ask is that I am still fairly new to Poe's music (although I have had haunted for a long time and LOVE it) and want to download/buy the album "Hello". Furthermore, I don't want Atlantic to get money from my buying Poe's first album if SHE doesn't even get any money from it. Any help would be appreciated.
