I'd like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that half of my town is gone. A good deal of Avella was underwater Friday night; two of my cousins' houses were almost totally destroyed, and two small children were swept away and not found on friday during the rain. I almost didn't make it home from school on Friday afternoon, because a tree came crashing down in the road ahead of me, but other than that I personally had no problems. Both of the businesses I work at, however, were under about 3 and a half feet of water. Burning Man kicked F&$@ing ass! Poeball and I fell in love and got our hearts a little broken (le sigh), but we had an excellent time. Just a little tip...forming immediate attachments to beautiful girls who live 3,000 miles away from you is a REALLY BAD IDEA.
