I realize that this may cause some controversy in here. But I was shocked when I read this article. We must remove any aspects of Christianity and religion from our schools but teaching about Allah, and reciting Muslim prayers in the class room is justified??? This does not sound like Social Studies to me. Do you realize that there is no tolerance for diversity in the Muslim world? I say that believing that knowing you are entitled to practice your beliefs in this country as long as they do not harm others, but given the diversity on this board I was curious if any of you were actually familiar with Muslim beliefs. I donated blood the other day, though I am severly under wieght. You're supposed to be about 110 LBS and I'm between 95 - 100 LBS. I was explained that if you're that weight a pint of blood is one tenth of the blood you pump in your body. So, in essence I'm running on 90% of my original blood supply, I've already passed out twice since Tuesday. Last week I feasted for the hell of it.
