Thank you for your beautiful work! Whether or not you create any more music, please know that what you have created thus far has been incredibly powerful, authentic, and healing. Often in this world, we do not get the opportunity to thank the people who have made a difference. You have done so, and I, among so many, thank you.

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS I first heard Poe when I was a little girl from my dad who loved her, and I remember her music used to haunt me. I was kept up with night terrors caused by her music. Listening to it now, I see the beauty and just pure-for lack of a better word-badassery that her music is. I read House Of Leaves soon after and I'm deeply in love with both of their works. Love it.

I have written Poe a letter, as I'm sure many of you have. It's incredibly personal and nothing I would share publicly-- so posting it here is out. Do any of you know a way of getting something to her? Have you done so successfully? I sent her a message via Facebook, but Facebook is sort of screwy and lame. Thank you.

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS Happy Fourth of July to all of my fellow Poe fans in the United States! For anyone who is into reading about the American Revolution, I recommend the book "Almost A Miracle" by John Ferling. What is so awesome about this book is that it details so vividly the hardships that Washington's troops encountered during the campaign and how our army, on many ocassions, came very close to losing the war. It's a book about perserverance and about how truly lucky and great George Washington was. May you all have a wonderful Independance Day!

I love all of Poe’s songs but “Angry Johnny” will always be my favorite, then “Hello”… they were my first introductions to such an amazing talent; Poe is no doubt one of the greatest musical talents in the universe. I was a Sass Jordan fan, I saw her at KLBJ’s 25th birthday in Austin Tx., later I was floored when I heard Poe. Her sound captured every bit of my soul and I have been forever hooked. When you look at her you just can’t turn away then you hear that voice and those lyrics and she has caught you. I wanted to talk about the comeback… First I must confess, I haven’t been here for 2 years, heart surgery, broken bones and life have been happening but I see that …

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS Does anyone have any information about where the band was prior to 1996, or what they were doing before they signed for the first album? I have a memory of seeing them before the jezebel tour and I cant find any information on line to tell me if Im crazy or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS I don't know about you, but when I wake up to use the bathroom or something anytime before 6am and then fall back asleep, I have the most vivid dreams. I tested it by setting my alarm clock for 5:30am (On a day I didn't have to go to work) then shut it off. I, like usual, had a vivid dream. Unfortunately it involved work. But it worked. If you're an early riser or someone who can't fall back asleep, then try setting it earlier. I wish a had a "dream machine" that would make a loud beeping noise and shut off before I had a chance to fully wake up. Maybe it would trigger my mind to recall the dreams too.
