Random Check In News And I have a Question: Hello Hello! Hope 2013 is treating you all well. Lest you fear that you have heard the last from Poe for another decade...fear not. While I don’t have a release date for new material yet...much is in the works. Poe is going to start messing around with Instagram so (if you are an Instagram fan and feel so inclined ;-) you can follow her at OfficialPoe (search @officialpoe) and don’t forget to comment so she knows you’re there. (FYI there’s an awesome pic of her and Steven Tyler from an event she supported over the weekend. More info on the cause can be on FB tomorrow.) Myspace (as some of you I’m sure already know)…

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS the 'story' that Poe posted on the site she had before this? It was about her contract... but written in a very careful, illustrative, metaphorical way. It was about her and her fans, the angry psychos on her ship. She gets kidnapped by an evil entity and held hostage and mute in the lower decks of her ship... eventually, she begins to chat 'copy cat' if i remember correctly, and somehow frees herself. I cannot remember all of the details, but does someone know where I can read this?

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS So, since the mailing list is essentially dead, and this place looks pretty hopping, I'm bringing my themed contributions along, too. (So expect some "Sweet Collaborations", too.) For those who don't know the schitck; this post is about the female artists and female led bands from whom I listened to released new music or just discovered in the past year. The Birthday Massacre: They've been a regular here for the past few years, and this past year, they produced an EP and a new full album. This Canadian, female led, Dark Wave band continues to refine their combination of synth, metal, and gothic sounds while keeping it familiar. Their softest,…

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS Hi All, Long time Poe fan, and I have been lurking here for ages as well, and finally decided to register. Now that I am here, does anyone happen to have a high quality recording of the track "How Long"? All the ones I have been able to find and fairly low quality. This is one of my favorite Poe songs ever, and having a good recording of it would be awesome. Way back when she played this track live on Cleveland radio, and I was unfortunately in my car, unable to record it. They never played it again :( Thanks in advance!

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS I just stumbled upon this site, but I'm a longtime e-mailing list subscriber, Adahlfin. Due to the state the e-mailing list had degraded to, I had pretty much abandoned the account it was going to. When I went to log into that account to post my annual "Ladies that Rocked My Lame Ass" list, I ended up locking it because I couldn't remember the answer to a security question. Any new news from the past year?

I always miss Poe at this point in the year. I listen to her always, but the fall does something to me...it has a very strange effect. I don't know how to explain it. I don't know if she ever reads this site, but I hope she knows that while we may have become quiet over the years, we are still here. Few artists speak through music the way Annie has. I know there are many of us who appreciate her, not only as a musician, but as a human being. Never underestimate the power of music. It touches lives. Okay, now I sound like a Hallmark original movie, but it remains the truth. Anyone out there feeling me on this? Do I need some Xanax or something?

Anyone ever know what happened to the Poe Ball? I can't even find pictures or any of the old posts about it traveling the world. Is it my imagination or did it end up overseas with a military member at one point?

Original photo could not be recovered from the archive. Poe was nice enough to invite me and my friend Shawna backstage to hang out before and during her show in Pittsburgh, circa 1996. She is so amazing.

My first blog post since joining! ...i really dont know what to say. Obvi, i love Poe. I think my fav song has to be Haunted. It's just so beautiful and the lyrics are really nice. I still have yet to own the Hello album, i know i know that's terrible, but ive been looking for a physical copy to buy, not digital, though i will probably end up buying a digital copy just because :D Anyways, other than Poe, i listen to a lot of pop music like Gaga and Madonna Katy Perry Rihanna. I love them all... but i think i love Namie Amuro the most. The bitch is serene. I guess thats all i have to say for now. haha P.S. Have there been any recent pictures of Poe released…
