Here's as good a place to put this as any I guess? I was driving home late tonight and had these mental images popping into my head and they reminded me a lot of P+E lyrics/house of leaves type stuff, I wasn't listening to music at the time but as soon as I got home I decided to try to put words to the images and after a paragraph threw on Haunted for some inspiration, some terms of our dear lady leaked into there as I'm sure you'll see, and for Shizzs and giggles I made all instances of a certain word blue. I guess I likes them siblings too much. Anyway I might flesh out what I have, and turn it into a short story if random inspiration strikes agai…

Maybe I'm just dense right now because I'm a wee bit tipsy, but in Conjure One's bio on his MySpace page, it lists the vocal collaberators for the new album and has this line relating to P+E: QUOTE Two singers from the first Conjure One album also return in the form of Jane, formerly poe (“Endless Dream,” “One Word” and “Extraordinary Way”) and Chemda (‘Forever Lost’), while new vocalist collaborators are Tiff Lacey (‘Face The Music’) and Joanna Stevens (‘Dying Light’) I'm sorry but did I miss something? Jane? Is it just a pseudonym? Colour me lost.

i seriously feel this book is one of the most brilliant books published in the last 10 years. i'm a uc berkeley literature student; i take in a lot of literature in 3 different languages. somehow, house of leaves manages to be carlyle, camus, sartre, de certeau and ovid...and then some, all at once. i was quite curious actually--i read carlyle long after i read house of leaves. does any one know about the possibility of the influence of sartor resartus on this text? or is it pure coincidence that both work around the incident of someone finding the texts of an eccentric after his death in an extremely disheveled condition and then attempting to stitch them back t…
