Original photo could not be recovered from the archive. This picture reminds me of the hope that I hear when I listen to Poe...sad, lonely, violent, sometimes without exit--but never without hope. Empire township beach, taken summer 2010.

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS Why create a new website and excite your fans if your not going to actually keep it up updated or keep in touch with the fans you have left, the fans that have been waiting such a long time for any productivity. The forum is now a dumping zone for junk mail and Im getting tired of waiting for any actual real poe news. Sorry Poe, I love you but Im over waiting for you

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS Tool systematically and magically changed my life. The more I go back and listen to Poe, the more I see the music and the aim is much the same. Both of Maynard and Poe sing like sirens, their music are sonic soundscapes, and their aim is really aiming for the higher being. Anyone who believes in this should go to Tool Band on facebook and thumbs up or post something supporting this: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tool-Band/7481918867?sk=wall#!/pages/Tool-Band/7481918867?sk=wall This is what I posted: (Jack Sakers) Tool, I think you are the greatest band that has gotten me through so much darkness in my life. You really gave me the tool…

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS It's so sad the world wasn't ready for you... Even now I'm listening to your Haunted, and even Hello, and 10 years later these are albums ready to take me into the future. I apologize to you, and stand with all in apology. I've become a true spiritual being and now I see what I couldn't see before. Bring back your sonic soundscape and help us take back the world. Lots of Love, Jack

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS So sad we are human ... only human We are nobodies Small fish in the seas They are somebodies Above us snuffing out stars Corporate umbrellas linked Clogging the sky Creating a rift with pyramid printed bills What can we do? We are human... only human humans bridge the rift with complaints humans bridge the rift with expectations humans bridge the rift with eyes that can't see afar humans forgot how to build a bridge So sad we are human... so human One man makes a small time store He's a homebody with a homemade surprise Big wigs make a larger store They offer cheap with no surprise Until the streets are left empty and clea…

Category: ANGRY PSYCHOS Anne: I'm not mad or disappointed, just anxious. I admire how you do what you want when you want and pursue projects that make you happy. It makes you elusive, and mysterious, which is your allure after all. Bottomline: We are dying out here. This new website screams come-back in one form or another. I just wish I knew what you were doing. You made two life-altering records. Not one good record and an okay record--two life-altering records. They were not the pop successes WEA wanted, but I feel you were something so much bigger than that. Haunted, such an overwhelming concept to the "simple people" fed radio hits every week. Sad sometimes the co…

Umm, I pretty much said everything I wanted in the Post title. Trigger - if there are any recordings from that, or the benefit concert, that would be totally radical if we could hear some of them! ~Jake

In the next few weeks, my band Ghost Children, will be recording a cover of Angry Johnny (rock version) and putting it up on youtube. We'll also be playing it live to bring awareness back to the awesomeness that is Poe. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. :D
