I just got a new writing gig, doing weekly album reviews for www.whatcharockin.com, a start-up website. A new-ish website, still working at getting off the ground, but not a scam like poetry.com because even though I won't get any money for the reviews (yet), they pay all the costs to ship me the pre-released CD's, etc., to be able to write the reviews, and it's good for the resume and portfolio. I wrote one on Maroon 5 that will be going up there, that's how I got the gig. The guy that recruits the reviewers is a member on the Cafe Atlanta group I belong to.
