If they get better security features on the board it might help, or if there was a lot closer moderation (which, it seems there might be, given how much work they're doing right now) they might have something on sign up where you write something about yourself or something, which could weed out some of the spammers.
October 21, 200718 yr Regarding a purge of old accounts, my account strangely seems to be intact. After receivingan AngryPsycho newsletter, I was curious if this old board was up and running. I dug up thee-mail that was sent to me in July of 2006 and wallah! My account still exists. Though... I'msooooooo ashamed. It said my last log-in attempt was in 2004. October 21, 200718 yr Well, specifically, they've been deleting spammer accounts, which have been more close in time to the last year, as the old old accounts tended to be the actual users.

It's stated that a Siren is a moment that was captured and recorded in a new medium, with the song 6 Deep Breaths having 6 Sirens inside it.The This Road album, is still a bit of a mystery to me. From my understanding there is one part of it hinting at possibly a new song releasing this year, likely with Control Resonant due to stuff I'll explain later. Another part of it led to a bit of a chase in finding a location on google maps that specified a part of the lyrics in the album jacket. They lyrics does seem to be just slightly wrong but what that implies or means is a mystery to me (although I only have the first release of the album and not the second, but I have pre-ordered the third to check).Then the YT channel/social media/appearance in Remedy games seem to be the simplest to me, but longest to explain, so beware of spoilers for Alan Wake. Her story in Alan Wake 2, seems to be told only through a few documents and details in the world, with other implied pieces in her socials/YT. Spoilers BelowPOE, was a prisoner inside a branch of a secretive government agency called the Federal Bureau of Control (The FBC), located in Bright Falls, Washington. They were attempting to use her as an experiment in testing the local lake there. The lake itself is know as a Place of Power (POP). The lake had the unique ability to turn art into reality, or to phrase it better, it would change reality to fit the art. However a former poet in the 70's ended up making a horror story on accident, and wrote themselves out of reality and ended up leaving the story open and waiting for people that fit the thematic structures of the now missing characters. The person taking the place of the poet was Alan Wake, and to sum up a long story short had ended up trapped inside the lake for 13 years and trying to escape this horror story. Now, I think her imprisonment in The Lakehouse was meant to be metaphorical to her inability to make much music due to the legal battles and all the messy stuff along with that. The Lakehouse is also a DLC for Alan Wake 2, and as such you can imagine that it became a horror story in there. POE had luckily managed to escape before the story itself shifted into full gear. She managed to do so with the song 6 Deep Breaths. After her escape she ended up inside the lake, specifically The Dark Place. The Dark place is inside the lake, or maybe is the lake, or the lake is a portal there, it's hard to say exactly. What's important though is The Dark Place is what allows reality to be changed, and is currently being used as a recreation of New York City where Alan Wake is attempting to escape the lake and progress his story. POE has seemingly managed to get inside the city before the story has started. She starts where Alan starts his story/loop, inside a TV Studio with a host who freely walks across realities like opening a door. She then ends up in the city, which I've taken to calling "Noir New York City," and seemingly just explores for a while. Now, an important thing of note is that inside the city, there are specific areas/buildings that progress Alan's story, of which POE has been avoiding to not get sucked into the story itself and end up trapped again. We know all this due to her socials and POE stickers placed around the game world. At some point POE manages to escape the confines of the story and now the rest of it is told through the socials and YT, I think? From here, things get messier. In her posts, and YT videos, there are some in this weird dream-like world. My current theory is that because each post/video shows us the world having slightly changed in some way, there is a timeline of sorts. We get to see POE making this area in The Dark Place (assuming it still is inside The Dark Place), and talking to the viewer. Through this we learn that much like a previously mentioned talk show host, POE can also travel through realities, or at least see into other ones. There is also another video that is likely important, The Listening Party. The Listening Party showcases POE in this sort of timeless state passed out while making This Road (the song). This is of note because it is very similar to a place we see Alan Wake in for his narrative, The Writers Room. The Writers Room is sort of this place above the story itself, where Alan writes the story before it happens. If his story sounds complicated, it is. It is my guess that this area we see POE in, is their equivalent of The Writers Room, where This Road (the song), was made. I think the song was possibly used as another means of escape like 6 Deep Breaths was before, this time back into reality, where we get to now also explore the Siren Society arg. Lastly, the documentation of her in The Lakehouse is in a room that teased Remedy's next big game, Control Resonant. The album itself teases a third song coming out 2026, the same year Control Resonant does. And the YT video, It Wasn't There (Experimental Music Video) was posted just hours before the official announcement of Control Resonant at The Game Awards. The video is also a recap of her time in The Lakehouse, and The FBC is a group that the Control series follows heavily. This is why it is very likely to me that the third song will release inside the game. The third pressing is also meant to have new Sirens, with one of them recorded on December 9th, after solving one of the Siren Society puzzles released around then and being invited to L.A. to record it. It's possible that this Siren will be for the third song. The only thing seemingly denying that so far is the third printing of This Road (the album), is set to release after the games launch, and we don't know for sure yet if it will have a third song or not.So sorry for the very long winded rant. It can be hard for me to explain things well, so lmk if something needs clarified!
September 9Sep 9 I wanted to share some of the weirder stuff I have found in my own independent investigations. Mocha the Moose is a personal project of mine that I have been researching, and when I was scrounging for footage I noticed a strange triangular pattern everywhere in Alan Wake 2. Just everything was aligned in patterns of triangles in a way that one couldn't miss. I went into the mind place, noticed that the deer's face on the mount over the fireplace was artificially mirrored. I normally would ignore it, but the game starts out with a deer's head floating in water, it's face reflected on the surface of the water. With Ilmo and Jakko making the Cult of the Tree's icon by thinking the FBC logo looked like a spruce tree, I accepted "weird logic" as acceptable, as long as there was logic. I had read House of Leaves at this point, and I was convinced the Dark Place and/or the Oldest House had a direct connection to the House in HoL. This shit has ballooned so much it doesn't really matter anymore, but I could tell "This Road"'s vinyl art was hiding something. The Not a Through Street sign in particular. For whatever reason, I connected the sign to the 5 and a half minute hallway, and the maze. Tom's Crossing adds credence to this, Kalin ventures into Isatch Canyon, a "box canyon" one way in, one way out. Not a through street. I took quite a few math courses in college, so using this info, along with my knowledge of angles, planes, inverses, I expanded the initial diagram to this:https://imgur.com/a/nt8wcakInitiation and Return's symbols are present in here, and they were made naturally using the logical rules described above. From my research, this mathematical diagram lines up with the Kabbalah, Yggdrasil, I postulate almost all spiritual practices have this foundation. The angles line up with tarot cards and the Hindu gods as well. I believe this is what Control Resonant's trailer refers to as "an intrusive pattern, of staggering power" I have tried to share this with the Alan Wake and Control community in the past and they rejected it. The House of Leaves community just winked at me and called me Johnny. This thing is incredible, it's hard to understate just how useful of a tool it is.
