It seems that, for now no further news will be coming... but the change in website and message board is a promising step... I'm sure we only have a few more years to wait...

I'm not sure what's more exciting...waiting for some music or trying to find information on the net about anything P+E related. That's not sarcasm either. It's like a big mystery and everyday I find a little bit more. I have been a fan since the first album came out and will continue to be. One thing...hit up the MySpace blog again and let us know what's up. We miss you.

This thread started November 19th, 2003. Here we are 5 years, 2 Months, and 15 days later... I'm still looking forward to whatever may come next. I just hope it's sooner rather than later.

We all love Poe and her music, but I think she has moved on to different ventures.

Don't mind me. I didn't think that anyone still checked around here too often. Just hoping out loud. Which has nothing to do with hopping quietly. Which has nothing to do with anything in the first place. And that's not to mention the fact that I haven't (technically) done anything out loud. Unless you're imagining the words being read out loud. But, at that point, you're doing the weird stuff, and I'm no longer at fault for writing it in the first place. and in case I haven't confused anyone yet: I hope that your old toilet brush doesn't hire an barbershop quartet to serenade you.

I'd still like new music even though it's rather unlikely at this point. At least, I think that's the point I was going for.

I will always have hope. First of all, there is something in the works obviously, or why would this page still exist? Why would there be a request for "dreams"? Why would there be a new Facebook page for P+E? Why would there be new posts from Trigger reminding us of the youtube page?


We just have to be patient and wait. Were not doing anything better anyway, are we?

I love the old songs....

But I doubt....

If you weren't aware all the song from the album, This Road, also appear in Alan Wake 2.

The current theory is that the new song will be in Control Resonant, which given how much the game is having a focus on music, it's becoming a stronger theory.

Someone please tell Poe that her old NYC artist friend Peter Max passed away yesterday at the age of 88.

You could put up donate link for your next project and just email a link to the songs as a thank you gift. Another loophole. And if for some reason you get a cease and desist, it'll still be leaked.

Also, the platform Ko-fi is more artist friendly than Patreon, if you wanted to start up something like that to get regular support from fans.

Or even better, find out how much it would cost for you to buy the rights to your own music and let us collectively give you the money to do that! THEN YOU WILL HAVE TAKEN CONTROL! Don't you mess with Poe. We've got your back. Let us help you!

Great to see this back up and running - and we know now what we didn't back when this thread started that sent you... to the Dark Place and beyond for a while. We're glad to have you back with us, and still hoping for some form of full length album down the line if we are to be so blessed.
