I checked out the HoL board a while back when this one had temporarily exploded.

They all scared the hell out of me. I replied in one post, then read around a bit, and decided to never go back. Many of them seem to have large, cumbersome objects permanently inserted into their anuses (is anuses the proper plural? I can't remember).

I went there too, and felt the same vibe... a lot of dorky literature freaks, but I dont mind.

I signed up for this board before realizing there was a board for HoL... but hearing the random feedback about it now, I'm glad I just stuck with this one. I love the Psychos!!!!!

if you come to detroit, i work for olympia entertainment/illitch enterprises, so would be cool if you rocked the Fox Theatre..

the acoustics kick ass, and it's been voted best theatre in north america, only seats 5,000.

No release dates as of yet. We've been told she's off in the recording studio. They'll update the main site if anything happens.

Well we know how much a perfectionist Poe is, so unless someone tears the new material from her bleeding fingers, we may not see the album for a LOOOONG time. But it WILL be worth the wait, of that I am sure.

Perfectionist it is, and I agree, it's always been worth the wait. Besides, by the time I'm finished spreading the gospel to those lost souls who haven't heard "Hello" or "Haunted" maybe it'll be close to done. Sounds like we both have our work cut out for us.

Never heard of "A Rose Is A Rose" but I got "Padre Fear" on Amazon.com. It's on one of the Trigger Happy Jack singles.

Speaking of some of the harder to find songs, does anyone know if there was ever a studio version of "How Long"? When I attended the Live 105 concert in '96, Poe introduced the song by saying something like, "This is a song you may have heard recently on the radio..." yet I've never been able to find anything but live MP3s (that also rock, natch.)
